We specialize in providing a fun learning environment for the beginner, however our guide is more than willing to show an experienced angler their way around the waters near Brevard, NC. These streams, which are nestled in the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina, offer plenty of adventure no matter your skill level. Our guide will lead you down both wild and hatchery supported trout streams, depending on your choice of either a full day or half day wading package.
Our trout fishing packages are sure to suite everyone's needs. We offer full day and half day guided fishing trips for one to two people at very competetive rates. And if you are looking for a guiding service willing to take groups, look no further. No matter what package you choose, our guide strives to make your fly fishing trip one to remember.

Doug Vercauteren is the guide and owner of Carolina Fishing Adventures. For the past thirty years he has enjoyed fly fishing all over North America. He has fished the streams in Northern Wisconsin, British Columbia, and the Canadian Rockies. However, he personally believes there is no match for the streams flowing through the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina.
For the past eight years he has been fishing the waters near Brevard, NC with his dog Sophie. This has gained him valuable knowledge about the trout streams in the area that even the most experience angler would appreciate. If you have never fly fished before, don’t worry. Doug loves to teach newcomers the ins and outs of trout fishing.
